I’ve never been convinced dark matter is a particle, even as a superfluid it would still need to be a particle on some scale. The idea of an energy field that behaves like mass is an intersting line of thought and worth considering.

Right now my money is still on a relationship to black holes around a few Jupiter masses or so. I like this solution because it fits with physics as we understand it currently, LiGO certainly implies the existence of an entire class of unknown black holes, and ruling them out by detecting them with precision is still well beyond out abilities at this time, so they are still in the running…
